New in 2018, the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid adds to the SEL and Limited trims with steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles. In addition to this, a lane-keeping assist has been included on the lane departure warning system as well. Two packages are available to the Ioniq. The first is a Tech package available on the SEL trim for smart cruise control, a lane keep assist system, and automatic emergency braking. The second package is an Ultimate package for the Limited trim with rear parking sensors, a wireless device charger, a cargo cover, and much more.

What does Ioniq offer for safety?

Many safety features are available to the Ioniq. Somes of the standard features include a rearview camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, driver and front passenger side-impact airbags, anti-lock braking, brake assist, traction control, a driver's knee airbag, anti-locking brakes, advanced dual front airbags, LATCH, remote keyless entry with alarm, front and rear crumple zones, and an energy-absorbing steering column. Optional features are available to upper trim levels. The base trim is the Blue with features like active grille shutters, integrated grille shutters, power side mirrors, solar control glass, projector daytime running lights, a door handle approach light, an auto defogger with dual automatic temperature control, a rear window defroster, power door locks, center armrest storage, an illuminated ignition, Bluetooth, a USB and auxiliary input jacks, both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and SiriusXM audio. The SEL trim adds a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a rear center armrest with cupholders, heated front seats, a 10-way power driver seat with lumbar support, LED tail lights, heated side mirrors, and chrome beltline molding. The final trim is the Limited with additional features like chrome accent door handles, HID headlights, a power tilt-and-slide sunroof, leather seating, premium door sill plates, Blue Link connected car service, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink and a compass, and LED interior illumination.
