What kind of power and handling can I expect from the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe?

The 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe can be outfitted with one of three available, fuel-efficient engines. Two four-cylinder options are available for the Santa Fe Sport, either a 2.4-liter model with 185 horsepower or a turbocharged 2.0-liter with 240 horsepower. For the full-sized Santa Fe (with up to 7-passenger seating), a larger 3.3-liter Lambda II V6 drives the vehicle, putting out 290 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque. Combined with the standard six-speed SHIFTRONIC automatic transmission, the V6 can achieve up to 25 miles per gallon on the highway. All Santa Fe engines are paired with the 6-speed automatic, and are equipped with high-pressure direct fuel injection and Dual Continuously Variable Valve Time technology. Front-wheel drive is standard on all 3-row Santa Fe's with all-wheel-drive optional.

What trim levels and features are available for the 2018 Santa Fe?

The three-row 2018 Santa Fe is offered in three trim levels: SE, SE Ultimate, and Limited Ultimate. Many luxurious comfort and convenience features come standard on the base SE, and the amenities only go on from there. Some standard features include dual front automatic temperature control, stain-resistant cloth upholstery, 7-passenger seating, 40/20/40 split-folding 2nd-row seats, an 8-way power adjustable driver seat, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Moving up through trim levels, additional features include a larger 8-inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, heated first and second row seats, an Infinity Premium Audio System, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The Limited Ultimate changes up the seating configuration, replacing the full second row with captain's chairs and reducing the overall passenger capacity to six. A premium package for the SE adds on many of the more luxurious features of the two higher trims, while an optional tech package adds extended safety, entertainment and information technologies on the SE Ultimate and the Limited Ultimate.
